Connecting to the Wired Network
Users in the University Library may access to Internet. Two connection methods are available and they may use either convention wired network or wireless LAN. Convention wired network is available in the following areas in the Library:
·Reading area on 3/F, 4/F, 5/F
·Postgraduate Study Room on the east side of the fourth floor
Connecting to the Library's Wireless Network
All Library locations offer free wireless access (Wi-Fi) in public areas at all times the library is open. Users must have a computer or other device equipped with a wireless card. All users are expected to use the library's wireless access in a legal and responsible manner, consistent with the educational and informational purposes for which it is provided.
Please follow the steps below to establish network connection
1. Click Local Area Connection >Click Properties
2. Double-click Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/Pv4)
3. Choose Obtain an IP address automatically and Obtain DNS sever address automatically
4. Then click OK
IE Configuration
1. Click Tools>Internet Options
2. Click Connections>Click LAN Settings at the bottom right
3. Choose Use a proxy server for your LAN
4. Input the following.
Internet address: 202.204.176.10
Port: 8080
5. Then click OK
