Getting Chinese Full Text Articles

To find a Chinese article, you need to rely mainly on CNKI while using VIP Chinese Science Journals Database and Wanfang Data subsidiary. If the full-text of the article is not available in the databases, you can find out the paper periodicals in the Library. It is important to note that you need to look for the articles of Publications of the Chinese Medical Association in the System of CMA Digital Periodicals which is developed by Wanfang Corporation.

Getting Full Text of the Article in Foreign Languages

Below are listed the best ways in which CMU Library users may obtain full-text articles through our online resources.

· From the CMU Library Catalog

Search the Library's online catalog to find out whether that journal has an online subscription. You can click on the links for full text options if the journal is available in the Library.

· From the Academic Information Resource Portal

You can find out full text articles from Metalib.

· From Ovid and other databases

Some databases provide the full text of some or all articles such as OVID, Springer Link, Karger, Nature, SAGE, ProQuest, etc. If available, you can most likely download, print or email the article right then and there. See a list of our online subscription databases on the Library’s home page: http://lib.ccmu.edu.cn , then choose Databases.

· From PubMed, Google Scholar and other websites

You can try searching for your article in your favorite search engine: GooglePUBMED, etc.

Service of Document Delivery

If you still can not find out the article, you can submit a document delivery request to the staffs at Reference and Information Department and we will get the full text articles for you through BALISNSTLCALISCASHL, etc.
