There are a number of different ways of accessing books:
1） Search the University Library Catalog
2） Search our electronic book collection, including Duxiu Search Engine, Thieme Electronic Book Library, Ebrary E-books, Apabi Digital Library, Kingbook International Foreign Digital Library, etc.
3） Search for books to request from Interlibrary Loan

If our library does not have a copy of a book, journal or other publication you wish to consult, the Inter Library Loan (ILL) service can borrow it from another library for you. There is no charge for this service. CMU faculty, staff and students can get an Interlibrary card by presenting their valid Library card at our library. Users may borrow books in person from other university libraries. They are also responsible for returning borrowed items to the lending Library directly.

All ILL requests must be submitted online at http://59.64.144.53:8080/union/index.jsp. Before submitting a request, please check the library catalogue first. Users will be notified by our staffs whenever the item(s) they have requested arrive at CMU Library. Loan materials must be picked up and returned at the Interlibrary Loan & Document Delivery Counter, 1/F, University Library. The normal charge for Express Delivery is RMB 7.00. BALIS and the user each pay half the cost.
